BRAD GAULEY

Age: 26
Years Riding: 13

Life Achievements: All the places this snowboarding game has taken me have been amazing, along with the things it has brought me.
Years with Shreducation: 3
Sponsors: Capita, Union, Ashbury.
Quote: "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." -Oscar Wilde

Write Up: Ever wondered what is it about those people that makes everyone drawn to them, especially when they're so...silent? That's probably what most wonder about Brad. He is the definition of the strong silent type, silent but very locked in and knowledgeable when it come's to snowboarding and the industry. 13 years on a snowboard may not seem that long but Brad has managed to accomplish a good amount in this time. The twice named Eastern Canada's rider off the year by Snowboarder Magazine has graced the pages of every major snowboard publication and has also competed against or has been fortunate enough to ride with countless pro's and legends from the snowboard world.

Dano Trakalo

I was born and raised on a farm an hour west of Toronto in a small rural town called West Montrose. At the age of 8, I started skateboarding and soon to be followed was snowboarding. I hung out in Ontario until I was 17, finished high school, then moved to Whistler, BC to pursue my passion for Snowboarding even further. I lived in Whistler for 13 years and rode everything from park & pipe to backcountry and street rails. I have recently moved back to Ontario to start a new chapter of my life. When asked to work with Shreducation this upcoming 2010/2011 season, I jumped at the opportunity I still have a love for the sport and am looking forward to working with the kids on the hill and passing on the knowledge and experience I have, to help them achieve there goals in snowboarding. Whether it be learning new tricks, filming a part, getting sponsored, competing, staying healthy to avoid injury or just dealing with the ups and downs of trying to establish themselves in the snow industry, I have dealt with it all and can provide an experienced overview and clear path for them to progress into the rider they want to be.

NICK MARSHALL

coach snowboarding, I sell snowboards, I compete and I film. I live snowboarding. All I want to do is snowboard every day of my life. Being involed in the snowboard world as much as I possibly can is very important to me. I love pushing this sport and giving kids the right guidance that I never had. It has gotten to a point where I'm more stoked when somebody im coaching lands a trick then when land a trick. I just hope i can help progress the sport for the rest of my life. Shreducation = FUN!

ANDREW STITTLE

I've been riding for a long time and have been in love with snowboarding since day one. Growing up in Orangeville with a very influential brother and a small resort just down the road, I was on the hill almost everyday after school, trying to keep up with my big brother and his friends. With so much time spent on less than ideal conditions, a lot came to me very easily. I was successful early in my competitive career, winning the second slope style event I entered. Some years later my brother decided to start coaching a select group of kids, including myself. With his help, we were able to progress much faster and I gained a huge respect for coaching and a team as a whole. With out being coached and being a part of a team, I would have never progressed as far in the sport as I have. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity to coach for Shreducation and give a new generation of riders the same advantage I had. Helping a young rider learn a new trick, or seeing them do well in competition is just as, if not more, rewarding then doing so for myself. Currently, I am riding for Rome snowboards and 686 Outerwear. Sponsor support along with Jesse and Shreducation keep me on hill and living the sport I love!

ANDREW SKELHORN

Andrew is a Canadian snowboard legend. A pro for the last decade and still today. Andrew rides for Electric, Capita and Quiksilver. splits his time between Ontario and B.C. an all around rider accomplished at all aspects of snowboarding this new addition to Shreducation is a huge deal. Andrew will be focusing his time on hill at Blue and Horseshoe and on the road with the kids that want to tour.

DEZ Price

"Shreducation is an amazing program for kids looking to progress to a professional level. Not only has this program helped many kids but all the kids currently involved have help me find the love of snowboarding everyday we ride. No matter how serious you are, you have to remember the first reason we ever strapped on a snowboard was to have fun!"

Also Chuck Norris is the reason Waldo is hiding!

Write up: I grew up my whole life skateboarding and at the age of 9 when snowboarding was first introduced it was obvious that I wanted to try it. In school we went on ski trips and we had to ski, we'll a couple of my friends and I stood up to our teacher and were the first students to be allowed to snowboard only if it was for half the day. As the years progressed I started finding a love for snowboarding than any other sport I participated in. I started riding for the local shop Oronge and was sponsored by LibTechnologies. I spent a few months down in Seattle helping work, fish and hang out with everyone at Mervin Manufacturing. After a few years of the contest circuit I started working at Oronge and then moved to Kelowna were I worked at Island Snow. 3 years later I moved to Vancouver and got a Marketing Job with No Limits Distribution were I handled all the Marketing and Team Managing for many brands. Over the last 10 years I've been with No Limits wearing many different hats. I've prided myself in doing the best job possible and always trying to push the limits of what is possible. I've helped many of the brands that people wear today grow from the start and helped many brands launch in Canada. I've also helped many athlete's progress to the pro level where snowboarding/skateboarding/Surfing/Wakeboarding/WakeSkating is there full time job. I currently left my position at No Limits last October to pursue working for myself. Now I live in Toronto and I'm fully committed to Shreducation while also starting up my own Men's Underwear Line called MYPAKAGE or PKG.

CHRIS WADDELL

I started riding when I was 12 yrs. old. I never skied, just jumped on a snowboard and fell in love with it. Seventeen years later, I still love the sport. I spent many years riding at Blue Mountain, where I was apart of the Blue Tang Clan. Likely you have never heard of our clan, but we thought we were pretty cool. I have always loved all aspects of the sport, however halfpipe is my passion. I started competing in pipe contests around the Collingwood area at the age of 16. I had a lot of success. I landed my first sponsor: Burton through the Ontario rep. Eventually, the success landed me a spot on the Canadian National Development Team. I travelled for a year with the team to train and compete in some World Cup contests. I was offered a spot on Canada's World Cup team, but decided the World Cup contest circuit was not for me. Joe McAdoo, my coach on the development team and a retired pro, was a huge inspiration to me. I never believed coaching would help my snowboarding, but Joe's coaching did. I've had a great interest in coaching from this experience. I want to pass on my experience and hope to have the same affect on upcoming athletes.
